Life Scripts

Life Scripts is a narrative driven, resource management boardgame that explores the experiences, pressures and choices of being childfree across different genders and cultural backgrounds. Players take on the role of characters with bonuses and challenges. The goal of the game is to navigate social expectation, economic pressures, and personal aspirations while maintaining your resources.

How to play:

• 2-4 Players roll a 6-sided dice to move along a board that represents the journey from 2010to 2025.
• Select 1 of 4-character backgrounds to start as, each having their own strength andweakness.
• Each turn, you roll, move, and apply the tile effect or draw a card.
• Players manage five resources: Mental Health, Social Life, Finances, Freedom andAspirations.

• You'll land on different tiles:
  
  • Event: Draw a card with positive or negative life effects.
  • Support: gains support effects to apply to another player's stigma effects.
  • Stigma: long term negative effects.
